PAT O’BRIEN RETURNS TO RADIO AS CO-HOST OF FOX SPORTS RADIO’S LOOSE CANNONS

WITH STEVE HARTMAN AND VIC “THE BRICK” JACOBS

LOS ANGELES, August 11, 2010 – Veteran sportscaster and entertainment host Pat O’Brien, who has covered everything from the Olympics to the Super Bowl, will join FOX Sports Radio’s Loose Cannons program with Steve Hartman and Vic “The Brick” Jacobs beginning Monday, August 16.  The show, which was previously known as Hartman & Friends, airs Monday through Friday from 12 - 4 p.m. PT and features the latest news and information, analysis and interviews from the world of sports and entertainment.

O’Brien has a rich background in entertainment as well as sports, as he previously anchored both Access Hollywood and The Insider, in addition to leading live coverage of the NCAA Basketball Tournament, World Series, and the NBA Finals on CBS Sports.  While working on these programs, he had the opportunity to interview figures from all walks of life, including President Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Brad Pitt, former First Lady Laura Bush, Magic Johnson, Derek Jeter, Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson.

“Pat’s experience in both sports and entertainment, as well as his industry connections and passion for radio, makes him a perfect fit for the Loose Cannons,” said Don Martin, Vice President/General Manager, FOX Sports Radio Network.  “We couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the FOX Sports Radio family as we continue providing the best destination for sports entertainment audio content.”

The Emmy award-winning O’Brien is looking forward to returning to the broadcast studio.  “Don Martin and I have had a great relationship through the years.  I have always had a great connection to the sports fans of America and I’m excited to be back in the conversation.”
